Ratecity's 24 hour Home Loan Sale

2017 REA Direct Campaign of the Year winner.

 

Home loans account for an enormous amount of every day Australians monthly incomes - causing significant ‘mortgage stress’.  But unlike every other consumer category, home loans are never on ‘sale’. Until now. We collaborated with Ratecity, a leading fintech comparison site, to create Australia’s first home loan sale. A 24 hour online blitz of never-to-be-repeated offers – right at the end of the Financial Year. 

 

Strategically, we rallied against the 'Big Banks' on the basis that, on average, over a 10 year period, you'll pay a $39,000 premium to have your home loan with a 'bricks and mortar' bank.  So in other words, that's $39,000 that could stay in your pocket. 

 

With a focus on multiple creative routes designed to allow us to AB test in real time to maximise conversions the campaign resulted in a record level of Home Loan enquiries.  And this, in turn, resulted in the campaign winning the REA Direct Response Campaign on the Year.
